Well it's supposed to look cool when the light flashes different colors (red, blue, etc.). I wonder how it'll look in the dark.

Right, but isn't it just a bit too big...almost like overkill?

If I wanted colored flashing lights, I'll go to a concert. Sony needs to stick to their "guns". This is going to be an extreme failure.

Lelouch put it correctly in his first post:

"A cheap knock off of a wiimote + nunchuck."

Also it seems that you can only use it if you have the eyetoy hooked up.

Well having the eyetoy isn't bad but the fact that you need it for the remote to work is lame.

I fail to see how needing the Eyetoy is any more lame than needing the Wii sensor bar.

The colored balls, by the way, are what the Eyetoy is tracking. They change color so that they contrast with the background (like, if you're playing in front of a red wall, it's not going to make the ball red because it'll blend in too much). I would assume it's also used to help differentiate multiple players.

You don't need the sensor bar to play wii games like wii sports. You just need it for certain games and to start up a channel. (unless you have the classic controller.)
